Test SME - Data Migration

PS600 per day (via Umbrella)
cer Financial are working alongside an international bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Test SME to work in the Data Migration Team on a contract.
The responsibilities of the Test SME - Data Migration will include:
Test Strategy Development: Be part of the Development and documenting a comprehensive test strategy for data migration activities ensuring data accuracy, consistency, integrity and performance.
Test Planning and Execution: Design, and execution of data migration testing, including functional, system, and acceptance testing.
Data Management and Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality standards are adhered to during the migration process.
Reporting and Documentation: Generate detailed reports on testing activities.
Stakeholder Engagement.
Data Lineage identification and Data Mapping.
Data Quality Control, Collection and Cleansing.
Data Analysis, validation and Interpretation: Utilise tools to perform advanced data analytics, including data blending, analysis, and modelling.
Problem Solving and Testing.
Test and validate - Semantic recognition, Data Rules and tool configuration.
Work with operations teams to approve setup of reference / static data for testing and go-live
Coordinate with business process stakeholders.
Post-Migration Review.
Validate - Data Visualization and Reporting: Use and develop automated reports and data visualizations that provide insights.
Data Governance and Quality Assurance: Ensure data integrity, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Advice and Innovation: Provide advice to teams within the business about tools, data and skills.
Support Cutover Planning and Runbook Management.
User Coordination: Work with users on how to use the migrated data.
Post-Migration Validation: Validate the migrated data in the target system.
The successful Test SME - Data Migration will have:
Proficiency in using ETL tools - Talend, Informatica, SSIS and with Migration tools - AWS DMS, Azure Data Migration Service.
Strong SQ skills and familiarity with database technologies - Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL.
The ability to identify, manage and maintain Risk (RAID) Logs.
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in data migration, data migration testing and data management preferably within the banking or financial sector.
Familiarity with banking systems, regulations, and standards.
Ability to use JIRA or Service Now Project Management tools.
Experience in Data Migration execution and Testing.
The use of any Data Migration Test tools - Data gaps ETL Validator, Testing Xperts, Tx tools, Dextrus, Azure Document DB, Beyond compare, Informix, Integrate.io, Excel.
