Job Specifications

Location: Downtown Toronto (4 days onsite)

Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension.

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their Treasury Department on a contract basis. This role will play a critical part in documenting business processes, requirements, and workflows, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and alignment with implementation efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically savvy, and an excellent communicator, able to bridge the gap between business and technology teams.

Documentation

Clearly and thoroughly document business requirements, workflows, and procedures to ensure traceability from requirements to implementation.

Communication

Able to explain complex or technical concepts in a way that is understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams, including business users, project managers, infra support, and other developers.
Proactive in seeking clarification, raising issues, and sharing updates.

Technical Skills

Excel (advanced), SQL, Python (basic - intermediate for data validation and analysis).
JIRA, confluence, other documentation tools.
