Job Description:

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a Technical Business Analyst on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 1+ years of experience in systems or business analysis who is eager to expand their technical and analytical skillset. In this role you will contribute to system enhancements, requirements gathering, documentation, and support across a variety of enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

Conduct business analysis including process and use case analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Contribute to technical development activities using a variety of scripting and coding tools.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and systems testing to ensure quality solutions.
Provide both technical and business support across multiple systems.
Develop and maintain technical and business documentation, including process maps, user guides, and business communications.
Own smaller-scale projects and initiatives while supporting larger enterprise-level system projects.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in a systems analyst or technical business analyst role.
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience with scripting and coding tools (academic, internship, or professional).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience in technical and business documentation (e.g., process mapping, training materials).
Familiarity with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and databases is considered an asset.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
