Job Description
The Business Systems Analyst supports and enhances the organization’s ERP and CRM platforms—primarily NetSuite and Salesforce—while also driving analytics, reporting, and cross-platform data integration across business systems. This role ensures system stability, accurate data, and efficient workflows that empower data-driven decision-making across departments. The position combines hands-on system administration with analytical insight, service desk support, and project coordination to deliver continuous improvement and operational visibility. The ideal candidate brings strong technical aptitude, business acumen, and the ability to translate data into actionable intelligence for leadership and functional teams.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
System Administration & Support
Collaborate with the IT and Business Systems teams to support and troubleshoot NetSuite, Salesforce, and related applications.
Resolve and manage service desk tickets related to ERP, CRM, and integrated systems.
Manage user roles, permissions, profiles, and data access across supported systems.
Maintain system configurations, workflows, and saved searches to support business processes.
Coordinate with vendors or consultants to resolve advanced issues and apply best practices.
Support data integrity and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Analytics & Reporting
Build and maintain dashboards, saved searches, and reports to support financial, sales, and operational teams.
Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
Combine and analyze data from ERP, CRM, WMS, and other business systems to identify trends, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Leverage knowledge of relational data structures and SQL to support analytics, troubleshoot data issues, and validate report accuracy.
Support strategic projects by developing data models, visualizations, and executive-level summaries.
Integrations & Process Improvement
Support integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, and third-party systems (e.g., Celigo, Netstock, WMS, BI tools).
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and document business requirements for automation and workflow optimization.
Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancements.
Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues between connected systems.
Project Coordination & Documentation
Update and create project plans to track milestones, deliverables, and timelines for ongoing system and analytics initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional system initiatives and technology rollouts.
Develop and maintain system documentation, process maps, and training materials.
Assist in change management, ensuring end-user adoption of new tools and processes.
Conduct training sessions and provide day-to-day user support.
Governance & Compliance
Maintain data governance standards and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Support audit and reporting needs for financial and operational systems.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in NetSuite and/or Salesforce administration or support.
Strong understanding of ERP and CRM workflows across Sales, Operations, and Finance.
Understanding of data systems, including relational databases and SQL.
Experience with reporting tools and data visualization (SuiteAnalytics, NSAW, Power BI, or Salesforce Reports).
Familiarity with integration tools such as Celigo, or similar middleware.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Project coordination or business analysis experience preferred.
Limit of Authority
Authorized to configure system settings and reports within established governance frameworks.
May coordinate with vendors or consultants under manager supervision.
Not authorized to approve contracts or commit company funds.
Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to work extended hours as required for system testing or upgrades.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods while using a computer.
Occasional travel to company sites or vendor
