Job Title: Duck Creek Billing/Policy Lead Developer

Location: Mississauga, ON, Canada

Type: Contract | [Onsite/Hybrid/Remote]

Rate: CAD 60 to CAD 75 per hr

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Lead Developer with expertise in both Billing and Policy modules. The role involves leading technical delivery, configuring core components, and integrating Duck Creek solutions to support insurance product workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead development and configuration of Duck Creek Billing and Policy modules
Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions
Integrate Duck Creek with external systems (policy, claims, finance)
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and defect resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of Duck Creek development experience, including Billing and Policy
Proficient in Duck Creek Author, Express, Debugger, and TransACT
Strong skills in C#, .NET, XML, and SQL Server
Experience with APIs, web services, and Agile delivery
Solid understanding of P&C insurance workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

Duck Creek Billing and/or Policy certification
Experience in insurance or financial services domain
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
