Title: Buyer (Hybrid work)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Location: Coppell, TX

NOTE - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote work

Payrate will be $25/hr - $30/hr on W-2

NOTE – Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Required Skills:

Bachelor's Degree preferred in Supply Chain/Procurement, Materials Management, Engineering or Business.
Minimum of 2 years' work experience in Procurement-related area in lieu of degree.
Good experience with SAP MM module including MRP.
Good knowledge about technical topics in the respective material groups especially within manufacturing & integration.
Familiar with master data principles.
Strong Microsoft Office software skills.
Experience with purchasing multiple commodities and tasks involved in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Detail-oriented and organized, advanced analytical and good problem-solving skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills for customer/vendor relations and interfaces.
Able to achieve work results with minimal supervision.

Daily Responsibilities:

Process purchasing requests into purchase orders, maintaining communication with suppliers and internal customers, from order placement to receipt, to ensure vendor quality and schedules are met.
Expedite orders where necessary and update ERP system to reflect order status.
Locate new sources of supply and maintain good working relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
Review and set up new suppliers.
Work closely with the project team based in North America and coordinate, within the scope of task, with production team and suppliers (globally) to achieve timely delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
