Position Overview

Leading international electricity and gas utility company, is seeking a highly skilled Customer/1 Billing Business Analyst to join our dynamic team focused on optimizing billing operations and enhancing customer experiences. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your deep expertise in Oracle Customer/1 (C1) to drive end-to-end billing processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a fast-paced energy utility environment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions that support meter-to-cash workflows, regulatory adherence, and scalable billing for millions of residential and commercial customers. Ideal candidates bring proven experience in energy utilities, with a track record of collaborating across IT, finance, and operations to deliver measurable improvements in billing accuracy and revenue management.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in utility billing systems, with specific proficiency in Oracle Customer/1 (C1) modules for meter-to-cash lifecycle.
Strong understanding of energy utility operations, including regulatory compliance (e.g., FERC, state PUC standards), rate structures, and billing for electricity/gas services.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in energy utilities, ideally from consulting firms or operators such as Cognizant (CTS), Infosys, Florida Power & Light (FPL), American Electric Power (AEP), or similar organizations serving the sector.
Familiarity with integrated utility ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, or ESRI for GIS integration) and agile methodologies.
