Akkodis is seeking Business Analyst - Generalist II / Workday Reporting Analyst for a 12 Months Contract- Remote
Rate Range: $35.00 P/HR - $40.00 P/HR; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Reporting Analyst to transform complex HR and workforce data into actionable insights through advanced Workday reporting and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports).
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in Workday reporting, advising on the best tools and structures to meet business requirements.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Business Partners, and Enterprise Technology teams to deliver high-quality data insights.
Support Workforce Analytics teams by delivering qualified and enriched Workday data for reporting and analysis.
Manage BAU (Business as Usual) reporting needs, including change requests, incident handling, and service requests.
Ensure data quality through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Lead and deliver on a portfolio of strategic HR data projects spanning multiple functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize existing reports, identify standardization opportunities, and improve usability and performance.
Promote a data-driven culture by empowering HR teams to use data effectively for decision-making.
Handle Sensitive Personally Identifiable Information (SPII) responsibly and securely.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in Workday Reporting, including Report Writer, Absence, Time Tracking, Calculated Fields, and Compensation reporting.
5+ years of experience with Excel, including Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, and data validation.
5+ years of experience managing workflows and projects using cloud-based tools such as ServiceNow, Monday.com, or Jira.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and communicate with stakeholders across levels.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Workday Prism Analytics experience.
Tableau experience for dashboarding and data visualization.
Experience with Workday Discovery Boards.
Hands-on experience with HR transformation projects, ideally in a consulting or enterprise environment.
Deep understanding of the Workday Object Model, Report Writer, and Calculated Field development.
Knowledge of Workday security and its impact on report design and access.
Familiarity with finance and HR processes such as position management, workforce planning, and the employee lifecycle.
Expertise in data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and knowledge of data visualization tools and platforms (ideally Tableau)
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
Workday Certifications (Pro or Implementer) highly desirable: Workday HCM Certified, Workday Advanced Reporting Certified, Workday Prism Certified
