Role Overview:

SAP HANA Security Lead

7+ years’ experience required
Proven ability to lead and manage larger teams in different GEO regions.
Should have a clear understanding and working experience in SDLC, CI/CD, Agile & Sprint programs.
Ability to Co-ordination with Application and Platform teams, Hyper-Care support, Performance optimization, Unit Test & Integration test support
Mentor and support other colleagues and L2 team for L3 Technical delivery
Managing services SLAs like availability (proactive monitoring) and incident resolutions as per SLAs
Strong client-facing role at the customer location or remotely.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Specialist – EDP Security to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls across the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). This role is responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring compliance with security policies, and enabling secure data access across integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Architecture & Implementation
Design and implement security frameworks and controls for EDP environments.
Configure and manage access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
Integrate security solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., LDAP, PKI, DLP, SIEM).

Threat Detection & Risk Mitigation

Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities within the EDP ecosystem.
Conduct regular risk assessments and penetration testing.
Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to ensure proactive threat management.

System Integration & Compliance

Ensure secure integration of EDP with cloud platforms, messaging systems, and third-party tools.
Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Support audits and provide documentation for security controls and incident response.

Technical Leadership & Support

Serve as the subject matter expert for EDP security architecture and operations.
Provide guidance to developers, analysts, and administrators on secure coding and data handling.
Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in data security.
