Job Title: Data Analyst – Data & Tooling

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 50% onsite / 50% remote)

Duration: 7+ months

Key Responsibilities

Review and optimize existing data models to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Define and implement sustainable conceptual and logical data models.
Document data sourcing needs and participate in defining new data products.
Provide technical support for data integration and data quality improvements.
Automate and streamline data pooling, sampling, and reporting activities.
Collect and analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data solutions.
Design and develop logical data models, data flows, and data stores (data warehouses, marts, and sets).
Support the safe and secure use of data for reporting, analytics, and process optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical (Mandatory)

5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
Proven expertise in data modeling (conceptual and logical), ideally with MERISE.
Experience with data pooling, sampling, and self-service data solutions.
Background in designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments.

Preferred

Experience in the financial or control/risk management sector.

Education & Certifications

Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
Certification in data modeling is a plus.
