The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Operating Officer will play a central role in shaping and delivering the next phase of the company’s strategic growth. The role spans operational excellence, digital transformation, and people leadership, ensuring the business continues to scale effectively while maintaining agility, service quality, and regulatory discipline.
The COO will be a hands-on, commercially astute leader capable of driving cross-functional performance, embedding technology-enabled processes, and delivering measurable impact across a complex, regulated organisation.
Industry Expertise
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial services, lending, insurance, or advisory environments, ideally with exposure to multi-site or network-based operations.
Strong understanding of FCA-regulated frameworks and compliance standards.
Demonstrated experience leading digital transformation to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Proven success in scaling operational infrastructure to support high-growth, service-led businesses.
Technology, People & Innovation
Skilled in leveraging platforms such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and modern data ecosystems (e.g. Snowflake) to enable automation and insight.
Familiarity with AI-driven customer or sales models and SaaS integrations.
Understanding of data governance, cybersecurity (MFA, DLP, Cyber Essentials Plus), and end-user computing strategies.
Experience developing advanced people functions covering talent acquisition, engagement, reward, and performance systems.
