People Partner
Plechâtel, Brittany, France | 6-Month Contract | Hybrid (Minimum 3 Days On-Site)
The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and forward-thinking People Partner to join our Plechâtel manufacturing site in Brittany. This role will work closely with the Manufacturing General Manager and will form a key part of the site leadership team, supporting a site of around 100 colleagues with ambitious growth plans.
As our People Partner, you’ll play a central role in driving the people agenda, leading key HR initiatives, supporting integration activity, and enabling organisational capability. We’re looking for someone who brings a proactive, solutions-driven mindset and who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.
This role reports directly to the Head of People Partnering (UK) with a dotted line into the Site
General Manager, and will also provide leadership to the local HR Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing
Acting as a strategic partner to the Site General Manager and leadership team, ensuring people plans support both short- and long-term business priorities.
Leading the People agenda across the Plechâtel site, including compliance, capability development, succession planning and colleague engagement.
Taking a leadership role in the integration project and wider strategic HR initiatives.
Providing coaching, guidance and challenge to line managers to drive accountability, build capability and ensure consistent application of policies.
Supporting the interpretation and application of French employment law and Inspired policies to ensure compliance and effective people management.
Leading recruitment and workforce planning activity to meet current and future capability needs.
Building strong relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders, including any relevant works councils or colleague forums.
Providing leadership to the local HR Manager and helping shape future team requirements as the site continues to grow.
Driving a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring HR processes and practices evolve with the needs of the business.
Supporting performance, development and talent management initiatives across the site.
About You
Proven experience in a strategic HR partnering role, ideally within manufacturing or an international, multi-site organisation.
Strong capability in coaching, influencing and partnering senior leaders.
Fluent in French and English (required).
Experience working on integration, change or transformation projects.
Solutions-driven mindset with the ability to work at pace and manage multiple priorities.
Strong understanding of employment legislation, ideally including French labour law.
Experience managing or developing teams (direct or indirect).
Confident working independently while collaborating across countries and functions.
Forward-thinking, commercially aware and passionate about driving value through people initiatives.
