This announcement is filling 6 temporary vacancies with MnDOT’s Planning Internship Program. The following offices will be filling positions:

Metro District – Planning, Program Management & Transit (Roseville, MN): 1 vacancy
Office of Transit and Active Transportation (St. Paul, MN): 2 vacancies
Office of Transportation System Management (St. Paul, MN): 2 vacancies
Office of Sustainability & Public Health (St. Paul, MN): 1 vacancy

MnDOT’s Planning Internship Program seek students and recent graduates to support transportation planning efforts across the state. Planning interns will work closely with experienced planning staff to help develop plans, conduct stakeholder engagement, analyze data, manage transportation system performance measures, and more. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A master’s or bachelor’s degree in planning, geography, urban studies, sociology, political science, or a closely related field.

OR

One year of professional transportation planning experience.
