Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Reading, Havant, Perth

Duration: 9 months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to take over delivery responsibility for the ZTNA/Cato projects, as well as to lead the ‘Modernisation Workstream’ which the projects sit within.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of Project Management within IT covering all the main disciplines, as well as awareness of the ZTNA and backup technologies. Understanding of working in a SAFe environment would be beneficial as the role will interact with teams working with those methods.
The role will report to the Senior Delivery Lead managing the Cloud and Infrastructure Programme. Key accountabilities are the successful delivery of the ZTNA/Cato and Rubric projects, as well as the reporting, stakeholder management and RAID management that comes with being Modernisation Workstream lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.

• Develop detailed project plans, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to align on project goals and execution.

• Integrate delivery of the ZTNA and Rubrik projects with the wider portfolio of work within Group Technology Services (GTS)

• Monitor and report on project performance using the templates provided by the portfolio.

• Work with PMO to manage change control processes and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of Technology project management experience.

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Excel, Confluence, ADO).

• Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications preferred.

Desirable:

• Experience in Cloud and Infrastructure project delivery.

• Familiarity with the Energy industry.

• Understanding of waterfall and scaled
