Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Databricks Lead, primarily based in Mississauga, ON, with opportunities for partial remote work. The Databricks Lead will oversee and execute data engineering projects, implementing scalable frameworks for data management and analytics workflow optimization. Responsibilities include building and managing data models, analyzing datasets, improving data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive data-driven solutions. The position requires strong leadership and expertise in leveraging Databricks for enterprise-level data challenges.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Data Analytics, Data Analysis, and leveraging insights to drive decision-making.
Strong skills in Data Management and Data Modeling with a focus on scalability and quality control.
Advanced Analytical Skills for problem-solving, workflow optimization, and improving data strategies.
Comprehensive experience with Databricks and other modern data engineering platforms.
Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and big data technologies is a plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
