About the Role (W2 Contract)

We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. This mid-to-senior level position focuses on vulnerability management and configuration compliance support across cloud and enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will be independent, resourceful, and able to take initiative while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide surge support for vulnerability management (Qualys) and configuration compliance processes.
Integrate and automate vulnerability and compliance data using ServiceNow and other cloud tools (Prisma, Wiz, etc.).
Support risk treatment processes and ensure sustainable vulnerability remediation workflows.
Enable cloud configuration compliance monitoring and reporting.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth operations of cyber security processes.
Take initiative to identify and implement improvements in security operations.

Required Qualifications:

Strong technical foundation in system administration (Unix or Windows).
Familiarity with networking and cyber security principles.
Technical experience with enterprise vulnerability management.
Experience with API integration, data automation, and ServiceNow.
Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with scripting languages (Python, RegEx).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professional demeanor, curious mindset, and ability to work independently.
Self-starter with a proactive, autonomous approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud compliance tools such as Prisma or Wiz.
Prior experience supporting mid-to-senior level cyber security initiatives.
