Junior Account Manager - Manchester

Location: Central Manchester

Start date: January 2026

Hours:

While training in months 1-4 hours are 9am – 6pm with reduced hours over the half-term and school breaks
7am–5pm (office-based) term time & shorter hours during school holidays (9:30am – 2pm)

Salary: Up to £30k (OTE £35-45k Year 1)

As a Junior Account Manager, you will be a vital link between Opogo and our school clients. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong relationships with schools, understand their staffing needs, and ensure their requirements are met effectively and efficiently by our technology.

You will be onboarded and trained by an experienced team of Account Managers who will support you throughout your growth.

Experience in a call centre, business development, outbound sales or recent graduates with a flair for building relationships are encouraged to apply.

You will be provided with a clear and effective onboarding and training program that will see your first year OTE circa £35-45K. The role is full-time and office-based 4 days per week.

The most vital aspect of the role is to promote School engagement with the Opogo technology by articulating the unique features and benefits of the Opogo app-based solution, highlighting how it addresses the pain points and improves the recruitment experience for both schools and candidates. This entails developing and promoting a compelling value proposition that emphasizes the time and cost savings, efficiency, and effectiveness achieved through the use of our technological solution. This will be done with the full support of the Business Development team.

Client Relationship Management
Candidate Sourcing and Screening Support
Client Support and Query Resolution
Account Growth and Upselling
Data Analysis and Reporting
Delivering on Personal Business Plan
