About the Role

We are working with a high-growth, renewable energy developer and operator with a turnover of £200m, backed by a leading infrastructure investor. The business is entering a dynamic buy-and-build phase, expanding its portfolio of solar and storage assets across Europe.

To support this growth, the company is seeking an Interim FP&A Manager to bring rigour, insight, and scalability to its financial planning and reporting processes. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in integrating acquisitions, building a robust group forecasting model, and providing decision-making support to the executive team and investors.

This is an opportunity to shape the FP&A function in a fast-moving, purpose-driven business that is scaling rapidly through both organic growth and strategic M&A.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycle, providing clear analysis to support strategic decision-making
Integrate new acquisitions into group reporting and develop consolidated performance dashboards
Build and enhance the financial model to support investment appraisal, valuation, and scenario planning
Partner with the CFO and corporate development team on M&A activity, including due diligence, financial review, and post-deal integration
Develop and standardise KPI frameworks and performance reporting across business units and regions
Provide commercial insight and challenge to business leaders on profitability, cash flow, and return on investment
Support ongoing process improvements and the implementation of systems to scale FP&A capability across the group

Requirements

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant experience in FP&A or commercial finance
Proven background in fast-growing, acquisitive, or PE-backed businesses (energy or infrastructure experience desirable)
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with a commercial mindset
