Job Title: Business/Test Analyst
Role Summary:
Lead business analysis and test activities for HR technology solutions, driving requirement definition, test strategy, UAT execution, and defect management to ensure high‑quality releases and continuous process improvements.
Expactations:
Expect to deliver clear business requirements, concise test plans, and actionable defect reports while collaborating with global stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. Early engagement in workshops, UAT facilitation, and hypercare support is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate discovery workshops to document business requirements, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Define, document, and maintain test strategy, plans, suites, and traceability matrices.
- Coordinate system, integration, UAT, and release/regression testing cycles.
- Lead UAT planning, execution, defect triage, sign‑off, and hypercare support.
- Produce defect triage meetings, publish quality metrics, and status reports.
- Conduct non‑functional testing activities (accessibility, performance, security/privacy).
- Support release readiness and continuous improvement of testing templates/playbooks.
Required Skills:
- 3+ years as Business Systems Analyst / HR Systems Analyst.
- Strong HR domain knowledge (talent, recruiting, onboarding, time/absence).
- Experience with Workday and/or ServiceNow HRSD.
- Hands‑on Test Lead experience: strategy development, execution oversight, defect management.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Agile/Waterfall) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with test/defect tools (JIRA, Xray/Test Plans).
- Excellent facilitation and communication abilities; comfortable leading workshops, UAT sessions, and triage meetings.
- Awareness of HR data privacy and compliance requirements.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- (Optional) Certifications such as CHRP/CHRL or PMP may be advantageous.
