Akkodis is seeking an Embedded Test Engineer for a contract position with a client in Ottawa (Hybrid), and ideally looking for experience with embedded Testing with Python and Blackbox Testing, and knowledge of Automotive Protocol

Job Description:

The client is looking to hire an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join their team responsible for developing control algorithms and generating production code for various vehicle features, including climate control, locking systems, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats.

Experience Required: - understanding of embedded SW automation testing on HW

knowledge of automotive protocols
Python coding experience

Experience Preferred: Requirement Analysis and review

Define Test Strategy for Black Box testing, which includes Functional and Integration level Testing
Testcase Authoring
Testcase Automation
Test environment setup[Jenkins]
Analyse Test execution Results
Defect creation
Defect reproduction support
Defect Triage
Continuous quality improvement by analysing the leaked defects and enhancing the test cases
