The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creatively fluent Director, Content to lead Farrynheight’s brand storytelling and owned-channel ecosystem. Reporting to the Executive Director with a dotted line to our Founder & CEO, this role will define, produce, and optimize the content that brings Farrynheight’s voice to life across every platform—social, podcast, newsletter, editorial, events, and beyond.
You’ll oversee the development and execution of an integrated content strategy that deepens our brand narrative, amplifies our leadership, and strengthens how Farrynheight shows up in the industry and culture. Equal parts strategist, editor, and producer, you’ll connect creative ambition with operational rigor—translating ideas into measurable impact.
This is a position for a hands-on leader who can craft vision, mobilize teams across studios, and execute with clarity and consistency. It’s an opportunity to shape the next chapter of Farrynheight’s brand story and build a content engine that inspires clients, creatives, and culture alike.
Core Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Brand Storytelling
Define and implement a holistic content strategy that connects Farrynheight’s brand narrative across all owned channels—including social, podcast, newsletter, editorial, and experiential moments.
Evolve and maintain Farrynheight’s brand voice, tone, and visual storytelling to ensure distinction, cohesion, and cultural resonance.
Translate Farrynheight’s strategic and creative work into compelling stories that elevate the agency’s reputation and express our values across every touchpoint.
Collaborate with leadership to plan and produce high-impact editorial and thought-leadership initiatives that reinforce Farrynheight’s position in the industry.
Channel Ownership & Execution
Oversee day-to-day content creation, production, and publishing across owned platforms, ensuring each channel delivers consistent, high-quality output.
Partner with the Creative and Social studios on asset development, scripting, copywriting, and visual execution.
Lead the planning and rollout of tentpole content programs—from trend reports and internal campaigns to podcast, branded events, and merchandise.
Develop and manage content calendars across platforms, aligning cadence and themes with marketing objectives and cultural moments.
Leadership Visibility & Community Building
Collaborate with Farrynheight’s Founder & CEO and studio leads to develop executive visibility content that strengthens our leadership presence across social, podcast, and press channels.
Cultivate relationships with creators, collaborators, and partners to expand Farrynheight’s voice and cultural reach.
Shape storytelling around internal culture and community moments, reinforcing our values and creative identity through campaigns and events.
Measurement & Optimization
Define and track KPIs across content channels, establishing dashboards that connect storytelling to measurable outcomes.
Regularly analyze performance data to optimize content strategy, creative direction, and distribution tactics.
Champion a culture of accountability and learning—ensuring every initiative ties back to clear goals and tangible impact.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in content strategy, editorial development, or brand marketing within an agency or brand environment.
Proven track record of building and executing integrated content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and cultural influence.
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills—with the ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and creative modes.
Deep fluency in digital and social media platforms, including video formats and emerging content trends.
Strong creative judgment and collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with designers, copywriters, and executives to shape and refine ideas.
Experience overseeing content production and vendor relationships, including writers, videographers, and editors.
Analytical mindset with a focus on measurement, reporting, and performance optimization.
Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.
A thoughtful communicator and team player who brings creativity, accountability, and clarity to every interaction.
