JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an expert who can build a Power BI dashboard and train the team on how to maintain it. The existing tables and reports are in Excel using macros, but the front end needs to be developed in Power BI. These reports will be presented to executives on a monthly basis to provide project updates. You will work on a large IT Asset Management (ITAM) project that was implemented in the U.S. and is now being extended to cover all Canadian software and hardware assets. Currently, there are approximately 30,000 line items in Excel, and this number is expected to double in the coming months. The ideal candidate will also have experience with automation to ensure spreadsheets can be published efficiently. This is a 9-month hybrid contract, with on-site work required every Tuesday and the second Friday of each month.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience creating regulatory/compliance-related or currency-related dashboards • Power BI dashboard development (minimum 2 years of experience) • Excel automation (3+ years), including macros, VLOOKUPs, and related functions • Experience working with large datasets Strong business acumen to translate technical outputs into business requirements

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• SQL scripting experience
