Summary
SRP is looking for a customer service minded talent to support Supply Chain and Flight Services operations. The Strategic Solutions & Supplier Management internship is designed to provide exposure to a variety of supply chain tasks and strategies within the disciplines of data analytics and reporting, organizational change management, project management, supplier diversity and supplier management.
This position collaborates and supports company-wide business objectives and projects, providing customer service in support of planned and emergency work functions. The job responsibilities are challenging and varied. The intern will gain valuable Supply Chain knowledge, business acumen and establish networking opportunities across SRP.
Work Schedule
The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.
Hours are scheduled during Monday – Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Do
Project based work: Research, gather, document, and measure areas for process improvement
Present out to leadership recommended actions of each process improvement project
Support team through data entry, audit, and verification (Supplier onboarding, supplier qualification, supplier diversity functions, corporate card administration, data analytics and reporting, etc.)
Support the invoice payment and invoice dispute resolution processes
Provide client support of various software applications to assist with requests and questions. Investigate and resolve customer, system, and technical issues in a timely manner
Gather requirements for department KPI reporting and dashboard development
Participate in SRP site and supplier site tours/meetings to expand knowledge of the overall operation
What It Takes To Succeed
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and the ability to interface directly with clients and colleagues
Experience working on multiple projects and prioritizing work
Basic understanding of Supply Chain and information management within a corporate setting
Demonstrate a growth mindset and exhibit a collaborative work style
The ability to successfully telework without daily in-person interaction
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Microsoft Teams

Education
College level coursework (100+) from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.
