Commissioning Manager – Data Centre Build

Location: Canary Wharf, London

Contract: 10 Months (Client-Side)

Start: ASAP

We’re supporting a leading data centre developer in Canary Wharf as they ramp up delivery on a major new build. They are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to oversee and drive all commissioning activities across this fast-paced project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coordinate and manage all commissioning phases across MEP systems.
Develop and oversee commissioning plans, schedules, and methodologies.
Manage contractor performance, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance.
Interface directly with the client, design teams, vendors, and contractors.
Review documentation including FAT/SAT, test scripts, and handover packages.
Ensure commissioning milestones are met and report progress to senior stakeholders.
Support integrated systems testing and final project handover.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
Strong technical background in MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, controls, etc.).
Excellent leadership, communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work client-side and manage multiple stakeholders.
Available for a 10-month London-based contract.
