Join an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a fully independent first-person horror shooter, Contamination. This project, led by a recent animation and illustration graduate, encompasses all facets of game creation, including design, modeling, animation, coding, and sound. The role is ideal for a creative professional passionate about video, animation, and game development, eager to collaborate remotely on a unique, personal project based in Singapore. You will play a key part in expanding and enhancing the game's visual and interactive elements, working closely with the project lead to bring new ideas and features to life.

Deliverables

Create and refine in-game animations for characters, environments, and interactive elements
Develop cinematic sequences and cutscenes to enhance narrative immersion
Collaborate on the integration of video and animation assets within the game engine
Assist in the design and implementation of visual effects that support the horror atmosphere
Participate in regular remote meetings to discuss progress and creative direction

Requirements

Proficiency in animation software such as Blender, Maya, or equivalent
Experience with video editing tools and game engines (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine)
Strong understanding of character animation, rigging, and motion principles
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote, collaborative environment
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for horror or narrative-driven games
Availability for a full-time, contract-based remote position
Open to applicants at the entry or junior level, with a willingness to learn and adapt
