About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to provide maternity cover within a global technology and advertising environment. This role sits at the intersection of media, tech, and commercial operations and is ideally suited to someone who is confident navigating both technical discussions and stakeholder-facing responsibilities.

The position involves working closely with sales teams, technical specialists, product experts, and support functions. You will act as a key interface between internal teams and B2B customers—ensuring successful delivery of projects, troubleshooting issues, and driving operational excellence. Although not a sales role, you will need a solid understanding of how commercial teams operate and be comfortable supporting conversations that help identify opportunities and improve client satisfaction.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong project management capability, comfort in technical problem-solving, and the ability to work with stakeholders across different time zones and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day engagement management to ensure smooth delivery of services and projects.
Act as a trusted partner to customer-facing teams, providing guidance, insight, and solutions.
Liaise with engineering, product, and technical support teams to resolve issues and progress technical queries.
Guide clients and internal partners through the delivery of technology and media-related projects.
Troubleshoot and navigate complex operational or technical challenges, supported by specialist teams.
Manage project planning, tracking, and communication with stakeholders at various levels.
Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes, and client outcomes.
Support opportunity management and contribute to strategic recommendations.
Communicate proactively with global stakeholders, adjusting communication style to different audiences.
Provide situational leadership and ensure expectations are clearly set and delivered against.

Required Experience & Skills

Five or more years’ experience in a relevant role (flexible for strong profiles).
Strong background in operations or project management within technology, media, or advertising.
Comfortable engaging in technical conversations and liaising with support or engineering teams.
Experience working with B2B customers and cross-functional commercial teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
Comfortable working across global teams and time zones.

Desired Skills (Preferred but Not Essential)

Background in digital media, advertising technology, or similar environments.
Experience in consultancy or in-house roles within tech or media sectors.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage complex enquiries.
Understanding of AI-driven solutions and how they apply in commercial or media contexts.
Ability to influence stakeholders and support opportunity development.

Success Measures

High satisfaction among internal stakeholders and customer-facing teams.
Effective delivery and impact of assigned projects and initiatives.
Smooth troubleshooting and resolution of technical or operational issues.
Positive contribution to commercial opportunities and team collaboration.

This role is open for a limited time. Next steps will be shared with shortlisted candidates ASAP. Due to the high volume of applicants, we may be unable to reply to each applicant individually. If you have not received a response, please assume that you have not been selected for progression to the next stage of the hiring process.
