IT Field Technician - Leeds (Field Based)
We're looking for an experienced IT Laptop deployment engineer who loves getting hands-on with laptop deployments and can hit the ground running with Intune and Autopilot. You'll play a key role in rolling out and configuring devices for healthcare users across multiple sites, ensuring smooth delivery, setup, and support.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives working independently, is organised, and enjoys getting out and about rather than being stuck behind a desk. You'll need to be commutable to Leeds and hold a full driving licence, as you'll be travelling to different locations to deliver equipment and provide support.
What you'll be doing
Deploying and configuring laptops for end users
Using Intune and Autopilot to image, configure, and roll out software
Setting up devices, testing them, and making sure they're good to go before deployment
Keeping detailed and accurate records of work completed
Collecting and ensuring the appropriate disposal of old devices
Identifying technical issues and recommending improvements to the deployment process
Managing your own schedule while working independently in the field
What we're looking for
Proven experience in laptop deployment and technical support
Strong understanding of Intune, Autopilot, and modern device rollout practices
Confident working directly with users and able to negotiate or explain technical issues in a friendly, professional manner
Comfortable tracking progress (burn-down charts experience a bonus)
Flexible, well-organised, and able to work with minimal supervision
Full UK driving licence and able to travel around the region as needed

BPSS clearance required
Contract runs to March 2026 with a short training period before deployments begin
