Job Title: IT Deployment Engineer
Location: near Widnes, Cheshire - onsite role
Day Rate: £200 per day - Ltd Company (Outside IR35) or PAYE Umbrella
Working Hours:09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
Duration: 2 months initially
Start Date: ASAP
Role:We are searching for an IT Deployment Engineer to support a mixture of desktop and laptop deployments for a client based near Widnes, Cheshire.
Aside from having a good technical grasp of desktop and deployment activities, excellent customer service skills are required as you will be interacting with users in a face-to-face capacity providing a white-glove service, as well as engaging with internal IT too.Main Duties:

Deploy and install PCs and laptops at end-user desks
Unbox, set up, and connect equipment
Carry out basic cable management and desk configuration
Asset tag equipment and accurately record deployment details
Adhere to deployment schedules and site-specific processes
Liaise with site leads and end users as required Key Skills & Competencies:

Proven experience in IT deployment or rollout projects
Strong knowledge of desktop hardware and Workstation setups
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in new environments
Familiarity with asset management systems and tools
Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Excellent customer service
