TheFutureSocietyLLC is a rapidly growing membership platform offering spiritual, educational, and community experiences. We’re expanding our infrastructure and need a specialist to stabilize our billing and authentication system.

About the role:

We’re looking for someone who is an expert in Stripe Billing to audit, fix, and optimize our subscription setup for a growing membership platform. The focus is stabilizing product structures, subscription logic, billing cycles, and upgrade/upsell behavior. This is an urgent role.

What you’ll work along with on:

Fixing product structures (monthly, yearly, upsells, add-ons)
Ensuring upgrades/upsells attach to existing subscriptions correctly
Aligning billing cycles
Preventing users from losing base plans during upgrades
Implementing and debugging Stripe webhooks
Supporting one-time purchases
Reducing billing errors and stabilizing subscription states

Requirements:

5+ years engineering experience
Expert-level experience with Stripe Billing (subscriptions, checkout, customer portal, webhooks)
Strong understanding of subscription SaaS architecture
Able to test everything without getting the founder or other team involved
Experience with membership or subscription platforms
Able to work independently and move fast
Supabase experience (auth, triggers, RLS, subscription syncing)
TypeScript and Next.js experience
Experience with membership or subscription platforms

Compensation

$120/hr
1-week audit + fixes
