Job Specifications
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting advanced ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on custom (scoped) application development. This role requires the ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with State of Texas standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom ServiceNow applications and advanced configurations.
Own end-to-end technical solutions and ensure alignment with platform best practices.
Lead technical execution across configuration, development, testing, and implementation.
Support Agile delivery cycles, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
Analyze requirements and translate them into sustainable, scalable ServiceNow solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical, data, and transformation issues.
Serve as SME for custom applications—answer configuration questions, debug issues, and guide stakeholders.
Build complex compliance dashboards and reporting solutions supporting State of Texas service level requirements.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Engineer.
Demonstrated expertise designing and building custom scoped applications.
Strong experience developing complex dashboards and aggregated compliance reporting beyond standard OOTB functionality.
Proficiency with JavaScript, Glide API, workflows, integrations, and overall ServiceNow architecture.
Experience working in Agile environments with structured release management.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot highly complex technical issues.
Texas-based candidates preferred; Austin or Irving ideal. US-remote considered (onshore only).
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $45.84/hour - $71.63/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
