Job Specifications
Assist in the coordination and follow-up of IT security-related matters within projects.
Help translate security requirements into clear technical specifications.
Support compliance of information systems with established security policies and standards.
Contribute to reviewing technical deliverables (software, documentation, security plans) with a focus on security and continuity.
Participate in monitoring security operations and provide input on business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Help clarify issues and contribute to preventing potential security incidents.
Assist in analyzing technical security assessments and studies.
Provide input on technical solutions in areas such as identity management, firewalls, and vulnerability management.
Gain exposure to security methodologies, risk management, and audits (e.g., ISO 2700X, CobIT).
Participate in meetings with project teams, contractors, and partners.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 3 years of higher education).
Knowledge and Skills
Ability to review technical and security documentation.
Some experience with security assessments of information systems.
Familiarity with penetration testing concepts (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and secure coding practices.
Understanding of security methodologies, risk management, and audits.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
Awareness of IT risk assessment practices and security best practices.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Desirable: familiarity with ITIL, service level agreements, technical writing, software development lifecycle (SDLC), or systems/network engineering.
Certifications in IT governance or security (e.g., CGEIT, CGRC) are considered an asset.
Non-Technical Skills
Ability to integrate into international and multicultural environments.
Strong collaboration and adaptability in team settings.
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Excellent communication skills in English (C1 level); French is a plus.
High level of discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
Specific Expertise
3- 4 years of practical experience in IT security, including handling security incidents.
Familiarity with security solutions such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, identity management, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint protection.
Understanding of cryptography, network security, and identity/access management tools (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Cisco ISE).
Exposure to security operations monitoring, incident management, and vulnerability management.
