Endpoint Engineer – Microsoft Intune

North Kansas City, MO (ONSITE)

12+ months contract

Job Description:-

Deploy, configure, and manage Microsoft Intune for device and application management across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
Implement and maintain modern endpoint management (MEM) solutions using Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD) integration.
Create and enforce device compliance policies, configuration profiles, and conditional access policies.
Manage application lifecycle through Intune — deployment, updates, and removal.
Collaborate with Security teams to implement endpoint security controls, including BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, and Windows Update for Business.
Support Windows Autopilot deployment and provisioning for new devices.
Monitor and troubleshoot endpoint performance, connectivity, and compliance issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or similar tools to streamline endpoint management tasks.

Stay current on emerging Intune and Microsoft 365 technologies and recommend improvements

Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
7+ years of experience in Endpoint Management or Systems Administration.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (MEM), Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365.
Knowledge of Windows Autopilot, Windows Update for Business, and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
Experience managing device compliance, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust policies.
Familiarity with endpoint security tools such as Defender for Endpoint, BitLocker, and Microsoft Security Baselines.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 administration and modern device management concepts.
