Your Impact at Lila
As a Product Strategy MBA Intern on the Life Sciences team at Lila, you will contribute to critical strategic and commercial initiatives at the intersection of biology, technology, and AI. Working closely with Product and Commercial leads, you’ll help define go-to-market strategies, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning for AI-driven therapeutic discovery. This is a hands-on role designed for a technical MBA student eager to work across technical and business domains to shape the future of life sciences innovation.
What You'll Be Building
Translate technical and scientific content into compelling presentation materials for pharma and biotech audiences
Conduct market sizing, and competitor research across therapeutic modalities and biologics
Support customer segmentation, persona development, and use case analysis for product strategy
Draft Target Product Profiles (TPPs), go-to-market frameworks, and business cases for platform expansion
Build tools, templates, and documentation that enhance decision-making and cross-functional workflows
What You’ll Need To Succeed
Currently pursuing an MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Exceptional analytical, synthesis, and communication skills
Strong visual storytelling and presentation development
Comfort working in fast-paced, unstructured environments
Ability to quickly grasp scientific and technical concepts in biology/therapeutics
Bonus Points For
Academic or professional background in life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceuticals
Experience in consulting, product strategy, or competitive market analysis
Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Notion, or other productivity platforms
Understanding of therapeutic discovery pipelines and platform biotech
Prior experience in biotech/pharma/AI-science startups or venture-backed life sciences companies
