About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and intellectually curious Communications & Strategy Intern to support Insilico Medicine’s efforts in conference preparation, public relations, and strategic marketing and BD. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the AI-driven longevity and drug discovery ecosystem, working alongside leading scientists, business strategists, and communications professionals.
The internship is designed for a PhD or postdoctoral scholar exploring industry applications of their research background, a marketing professional or an MBA candidate looking to bridge the gap between business, science, and technology innovation.
You may have:
Strong analytical and research skills; ability to synthesize complex technical information for diverse audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and digital media tools (LinkedIn, Canva, HubSpot, etc.).
Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Current MBA student or PhD, or Postdoctoral researcher in life sciences, computational biology, bioinformatics, neuroscience, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
Conference Preparation & Strategy
Assist in organizing Insilico’s participation in global AI, biotech, and longevity conferences, especially the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference (January 13–16), including logistics such as reception support, meeting coordination, and booth management.
Conduct background research on key opinion leaders, competitive presentations, and emerging topics.
Support creation of speaker briefs, slide decks, and event collateral.
Public Relations & Marketing Support
Draft press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership materials under supervision.
Help coordinate media outreach and track coverage related to company milestones.
Contribute to digital content (LinkedIn, website, newsletters) to highlight company achievements and publications.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
Research trends at the intersection of AI, drug discovery, and longevity biotechnology.
Summarize findings into short, executive-ready insights for internal teams.
Assist in benchmarking Insilico’s presence and perception within the broader biotech innovation landscape.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Interface with R&D, Business Development, and Communications teams to ensure scientific accuracy and message alignment.
Support coordination with external partners, vendors, and event organizers.
Experience:
Demonstrated interest in the AI, biotech, or longevity sectors.
Previous exposure to science communication, consulting, or business strategy is a plus.
