Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, strong understanding of platform architecture, and hands-on experience in building scalable and secure enterprise workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions while ensuring best practices and platform governance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and Custom Scoped Applications.
Lead ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and integrations with enterprise systems (REST, SOAP, MID Server).
Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, workflows, and Flow Designer automations.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules using JavaScript, Glide APIs, and platform components.
Develop and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, SLAs, notifications, and portals.
Implement and support CMDB and Discovery processes for accurate asset and configuration management.
Work closely with architects, product owners, and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to platform configuration, integrations, or performance.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and provide accurate estimations.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, Flow Designer, UI Builder, and Service Portal development.
Experience with ITSM (mandatory) and at least one of: ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC.
Solid experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, SSO, LDAP).
Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping is highly preferred.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
Preferred: CAD, CIS (ITSM/ITOM/HRSD), or Application Developer certifications.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Scoped Application Development.
Familiarity with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework).
Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and versioning best practices.
Experience with Performance Analytics, Reporting, or Virtual Agent.
