We are seeking a hands-on Middle Office Tester to support a complex investment data and reconciliation initiative within a leading asset management environment. This role requires someone who is comfortable getting deep into the detailrunning reconciliations, investigating variances, and taking issues through to defect creation, retesting and closure.
This is not a high-level coordination role; it suits someone who enjoys working directly with complex datasets and following underlying data logic through to root cause.

MUST HAVE ASSET/INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

Key responsibilities
Completion and evidence of test scripts (end-to-end execution)
Running, maintaining and updating testing reconciliations
Performing detailed investigations into testing results and data variances
Producing test outputs and evidence to support defect raising
Capturing, raising and managing defects, including retesting once fixes are delivered
Working closely with stakeholders to validate outcomes against reporting and data requirements
Required experience/skills
Strong experience as a Middle Office Tester/UAT Tester/Test Analyst working with investment data
Demonstrable experience investigating data breaks and seeing issues through to resolution
Investment data SME knowledge, ideally gained within:
Solvency II, Credit Risk or ALM
Investment Operations/Asset Management/Middle Office functions
Preference for candidates with a reporting-focused background, given data is used for internal and external reporting outputs
Hands-on experience working on system migrations, Middle Office migrations or regulatory implementations
Comfortable working with large and complex datasets, including high volumes of variances
Strong logical and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex data rules and underlying calculations
Desirable experience
Experience reconciling data across multiple platforms or service providers
Exposure to investment data lineage, mapping or reconciliation processes
