Junior Legal Assistant - Boutique Litigation Law Firm

Location: Central London

Contract: 6-month FTC (with potential to go permanent)

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience)

Start Date: January

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded boutique litigation law firm for a brand-new Junior Legal Assistant position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has already gained experience in a law firm environment and is now ready to step into a role with dedicated responsibility for supporting a set allocation of partners and fee earners.

Key Details

Hybrid working:
First 2 months: 4 days in office, 1-day WFH
Thereafter: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
Contract: Initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Providing direct administrative and legal support to allocated partners and fee earners.
Managing case files, preparing bundles, and assisting with litigation processes.
Drafting correspondence and maintaining accurate records.
Coordinating diaries, meetings, and deadlines.
Liaising with clients and external stakeholders in a professional manner.

Candidate Profile

Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and professional approach to supporting senior fee earners.
