£90-100,000 plus generous benefits

Technical leadership for a major replatforming programme. Leading and guiding but not line managing colleagues, play a central role in a large scale AWS cloud platform build.

Working in a team of highly skilled software engineers and forward thinking leadership, with the luxury of time and investment to build something really great.

Broad responsibility

Strategic technical leadership of multiple cross-functional software development teams. Acting as recognised technical authority for Cloud Platform across the group internationally.

Building a world class development platform on AWS with c# and javascript.

In more detail -

Introduce and embed software development best practices and techniques
Inject urgency and direction across the Platform teams
Collaborate closely with engineering management to upskill, develop and nurture the engineers
Provides mentorship to principal engineers within the Platform teams
Promote the latest techniques and technologies in software development

The tech stack -

AWS
.net stack
modern microservice architecture, CI/CD, SOLID, BDD
Large scale multi-tenancy
TDD and rigorous testing processes
