Hi there! We're Aykah Furniture (www.aykah.ca) and we're looking for an in-person Social Media Marketing Coordinator to join our team!
At Aykah we attribute much of our success to the strength of our marketing division. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified Social Media Marketing Coordinator to work closely with us. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, digital marketing, and social media. The Marketing Coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.
What your day-to-day responsibilities look like:
Digital Marketing:
Lead content development processes, including developing engaging communications products (e.g., short videos, Pinterest pins, social media content, advertisements etc.) for all social media platforms.
Knowledge of leveraging various features within these platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Reels/Stories, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
Experience with email marketing platforms to create, send, and track email campaigns.
Influencer Marketing:
Identify, vet, and establish relationships with influencers aligned with our brand.
Manage all aspects of influencer campaigns — outreach, contract negotiation, timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
Ensure influencer content aligns with brand values and campaign goals, tracking performance and ROI.
Analytics and Reporting:
Proficient in analyzing marketing metrics and performance data to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Create Google Analytics reporting and dashboards, evaluating data and drawing actionable conclusions and benchmarks to inform tactics.
Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, or other social media analytics platforms to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Content Creation:
Ability to create engaging and compelling content for different platforms, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
Experience in writing clear and persuasive copy for social media posts, blogs, email campaigns, and website content.
Familiarity with design tools such as Canva to create visually appealing marketing materials.
Creative Direction:
Work with the Graphic Designer and Ads Specialist to create and manage social media strategies and content creation for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
Coordinate partnership opportunities, strategies and content with internal and external stakeholders.
Market Research:
Ability to conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive strategies.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
You have:
A Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Advertising or any related academic disciplines.
3+ years of experience in progressive marketing roles or responsibilities.
Proficient in digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and social media management tools.
Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to write captivating on-brand content for all marketing and brand channels.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
An eye for photography and intermediate understanding of editing photos.
A desire to collaborate and work towards common business goals, while maintaining responsibility and advocacy for marketing priorities.
A desire to work in a small business environment and you are okay with taking on diverse responsibilities.
