Job Specifications

We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Administrator to join our client’s nearshore team on a long-term remote engagement. This role is centered on platform administration, governance, and capacity management within large, enterprise Power BI environments. It’s an ideal fit for professionals who thrive on performance optimization and operational stability rather than full-scale development.

What You’ll Do

Manage and administer large-scale Power BI environments (18,000+ reports, 2,000+ workspaces)
Oversee user access, workspace governance, and security controls
Monitor and optimize capacity, performance, and overall platform health
Support light automation tasks through basic scripting (SQL, PowerShell, or API)
Identify cost optimization opportunities and recommend performance improvements
Partner with IT, data, and business teams to ensure operational efficiency and scalability

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of hands-on Power BI administration experience
Strong understanding of tenant governance, capacity monitoring, and workspace management
Familiarity with SQL, PowerShell, or APIs for light automation (no advanced scripting required)
Background in business analysis, data operations, or analytics with strong Power BI technical skills
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL workflows, or Azure data services is a plus
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar deployment tools preferred
