JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is hiring a seasoned Configuration Manager for a leading Canadian bank on a 12 month contract. This role will take ownership of the organization’s Configuration Management strategy, focusing on CMDB governance and data integrity while driving alignment with ServiceNow’s CSDM framework. We’re looking for a senior-level expert who can shape processes, lead conversations, and guide the transition toward a modernized configuration data model.

-Own the CMDB roadmap, establishing governance standards and lifecycle controls.

-Analyze data quality, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures to strengthen accuracy.

-Lead CI discovery and reconciliation efforts in collaboration with ServiceNow engineering teams.

-Define health metrics and deliver executive-level reporting on CMDB performance and business impact.

-Integrate Configuration Management practices with ITSM workflows, asset management, and security operations.

-Develop documentation and training resources to enable long-term sustainability and knowledge transfer.

-Champion adoption of ServiceNow’s CSDM framework and advanced data modeling practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-5+ years of experience in Configuration Management within enterprise environments.

-Deep expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM framework, and Discovery tools.

-Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and ITOM processes.

-Ability to lead discussions, influence stakeholders, and translate technical concepts into actionable processes.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-ITIL or ServiceNow certifications are a strong asset.
