ServiceNow Developer / ServiceNow Engineer

Location: Remote (United States only)

Compensation: $65 – $75 per hour (W2 or C2C, depending on engagement)

Employment Type: Contract

Summary

Our client is e seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to support and enhance enterprise ServiceNow implementations in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on ServiceNow professional who enjoys building scalable workflows, customizing the platform, and partnering closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

You’ll work remotely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize ServiceNow applications across ITSM and related modules.

Overview of Role

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications and customizations
Build and enhance workflows, business rules, client scripts, and UI policies
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules to meet business requirements
Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and deployments
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and performance concerns
Follow ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or ServiceNow Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
Experience with ITSM implementations and configurations
Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and data model
Experience developing integrations using REST/SOAP
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strong communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB)
Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and automation
ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS) are a plus
Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow environments
Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies
