Position Overview

The Specialized Lending Account Manager is responsible for underwriting and adjudicating credit applications within delegated lending authority, ensuring alignment with credit policies, risk appetite, and regulatory standards. The role focuses on sound credit judgment, risk mitigation, and portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

Review and adjudicate lending applications secured by insurance and wealth assets.
Conduct thorough credit analysis and provide clear underwriting recommendations.
Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain portfolio quality through effective risk assessment and governance.
Escalate applications beyond delegated authority as required.
Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen credit risk practices.
Complete annual reviews and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Promote a strong risk-aware and compliance-focused culture.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in commercial banking or lending.
Strong knowledge of the financial services industry.
Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Experience with ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Experience in credit risk or exercising delegated lending authority.
Private banking experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
