Overview of the Role
Our global luxury beauty client is seeking a marketer to join their team! The Trade Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of trade marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive sales within retail environments. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams - including sales, marketing, visual merchandising, and external vendors-to ensure seamless implementation of retail programs and activations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The Basics
Duration: 9 Months
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days a week onsite) in New York, NY (Hudson Yards)
Top 3 Required Qualifications
At least 2-3 years in trade marketing, visual merchandising, or a related role, ideally within beauty or luxury retail.
Proven expertise in project management, can manage multiple timelines and deliverables with accuracy and efficiency.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with merchandising platforms (e.g., ESKO).
Other Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
Knowledge of retail operations and visual merchandising principles
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Passion for beauty and luxury products
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination: Develop and manage detailed timelines for trade marketing initiatives, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
In-Store Presence Optimization: Lead planning and execution of retailer programs, including status updates and performance tracking.
Visual Merchandising & POS Activations: Oversee design and implementation of in-store displays, manage fixture and factice orders, and coordinate video updates.
Merchandising Execution: Maintain accurate copy in artwork systems, create pre-pack codes, and manage allocations for merchandising materials.
Custom Shop & Special Projects: Execute unique planograms, handle retailer-specific requests, and support special projects to enhance brand presence.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
