Subsea Installation Engineer – Rigid Jumpers

Location: Offices based in Puteaux or Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Subsea Installation Engineer with a strong background in rigid jumper systems to join a leading offshore engineering team. This role involves developing and validating installation procedures, leading engineering teams, and supporting offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and validate installation procedures for rigid jumpers, including metrology, lifting, alignment, and connection.
Lead a team of methods engineers and coordinate with design, fabrication, and offshore teams.
Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and installation drawings.
Provide support during offshore operations, including potential on-site supervision during jumper installation campaigns.
Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Required Experience

Proven experience in subsea installation engineering, particularly with rigid jumper systems.
Previous roles as a Methods Engineer or Lead Engineer on offshore/subsea projects.

Language Requirements

Fluent English is essential for documentation, coordination, and offshore communication.

Certifications

BOSIET + CA-EBS (OPITO certified): Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System.
OGUK Medical Fitness Certificate: Required to confirm fitness for offshore work.
