Diplomatic Language Services (DLS), founded in 1985, specializes in the provision of language and cultural training and related language services to US government and commercial clients. DLS is currently accepting applications for a Salesforce Administrator. This individual will provide ongoing support to the development and use of our https://Salesforce.com CRM platform. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. This individual will assist in training new users, facilitating user testing in the development process, and working with departmental management and staff to identify and deploy business process improvements using Salesforce and related systems. Position will be full-time and start ASAP. The position will ideally be a hybrid role, though we are open to fully remote for the right candidate. Please note: this individual will be expected to start their work day at 8:00am (EST).

Per contract requirements, this individual must be a U.S. citizen.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as an administrator for the https://Salesforce.com environment with 40+ CRM users and 500+ community users;
Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks;
Manage and resolve user support cases and enhancement requests promptly;
Manage data integrity through regular audits, deduplication, and documentation of data processes;
Support system integrations (e.g., LMS, Box, and Zoom) and ensure data consistency across platforms.
Work with members of the user community to define and document development requirements;
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests;
Work with the Salesforce team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities;
Communicate development progress with users;
Develop and maintain user training materials and deliver training sessions to improve system adoption.
Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams;
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs;
Assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

AA/AS completed in good standing;
One year of experience as a database administrator;
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption;
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality;
Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM201) strongly preferred;
Strong data management skills;
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred;
Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude;
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards;
Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills;
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
Proactive, curious learner who enjoys troubleshooting and improving systems:
Communicative collaborator who can translate technical details for non-technical users;
Organized and able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
