We’re recruiting an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join a leading International organisation on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands on infrastructure role supporting a mixed office based and remote user base. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and securing core IT infrastructure, while providing high-quality 2nd and 3rd line support across the organisation.

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will:

Support and maintain core IT infrastructure underpinning internal and external services
Resolve 2nd and 3rd line support tickets in line with agreed SLAs
Advise colleagues and managers on IT-related matters and best practice
Assist with the maintenance, administration and continuous improvement of infrastructure systems
Deploy and manage endpoint security across laptops, desktops and tablets
Carry out proactive monitoring and maintenance of the infrastructure environment
Create and manage user accounts, permissions and access controls
Maintain accurate documentation for systems, changes and procedures
Support IT projects and act as a technical subject-matter expert
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior IT colleagues where required
Support both office-based and remote users across the organisation

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure environments
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
Experience with backup solutions, monitoring tools and email services (e.g. Exchange/SMTP)
Knowledge of cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
Experience working with service desks, ticketing systems and endpoint devices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
Highly organised, able to prioritise work in a busy support environment
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
