Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled IT - Solutions Developer I to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.

Contract Period: 8 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $34 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday; Core Business Hours

Job Responsibilities:
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
Write, test and debug code according to specifications provided by senior staff
Participates in code reviews
Contractor will escalate unresolved issues to senior staff
Ensure consistency in coding standards
Ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff upon completion of contract term
Participate in after-hours on-call support rotation as required
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
Computer Science Degree
2 Years of Developer Experience
Experience working with as a Developer with Html/CSS and JavaScript coding with the ability to code with good quality (Need to be able to Code/update code/code from scratch)
Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic, MS Access, and MS Excel
Knowledgeable in using built-in browser dev tools to understand web site API methods
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with SQL Databases
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are an asset
Experience working in an Agile operating model using JIRA/Confluence would be beneficial
