We are working with a leading manufacturing and engineering business in the Oxford area that is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join on a 12-month contract. This is a highly visible and business-critical role, supporting operational teams with data-driven insight and robust cost analysis.

The role will partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, and operations, playing a key role in managing product costs and supporting strategic and operational decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a finance partner to operational and engineering teams, providing commercial challenge and support
Produce and enhance management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs using D365 and Power BI
Deliver detailed product and manufacturing cost analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
Produce and interpret management information, KPIs, and variance analysis
Drive improved cost control and operational efficiency
Provide clear, data-led insights to senior stakeholders
Support continuous improvement and key business projects

About You:

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power BI
Strong experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Proven background in operational finance, costing, and data analysis
Confident working closely with non-finance stakeholders
Hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
