Purpose and objective of the role

A highly driven Account Director to drive our commercial proposition and expand Pulsar’s footprint across enterprise markets. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Lead, you will work closely with a team including Solutions Consultants and Account Managers focused on mid-market clients.

This is a strategic, relationship-led sales role responsible for owning and growing a portfolio of enterprise accounts while acquiring new high-value clients. You will carry an annual revenue target of £3 million, focused on ServiceNow-aligned services, implementation programmes, and consultancy offerings.

As a proven enterprise salesperson with strong networks, a track record of exceeding targets, and the ability to engage senior stakeholders across complex organisations you will drive true business growth and opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Account & Relationship Management

Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts, ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term partnership value.
Build, maintain, and expand senior-level relationships across IT, Operations, Digital, and Transformation functions.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals and aligning Pulsar’s solutions accordingly.
Leverage an existing strong professional network to open new doors and accelerate pipeline growth.

Sales Leadership & Target Achievement

Develop and execute account strategies to achieve or exceed first year, £3M annual sales quota.
Lead consultative, solution-driven sales cycles for ServiceNow and technology consultancy services.
Own end-to-end deal execution, from opportunity qualification to contract closure.
Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to maximise account expansion.

ServiceNow & Technology Expertise

Maintain a strong understanding of ServiceNow products, capabilities, and the broader digital transformation landscape.
Position high-value implementation, advisory, and managed services to enterprise clients.
Partner closely with delivery, pre-sales, and technical consultants to shape compelling proposals and solution designs.

Commercial & Strategic Contribution

Build and maintain an accurate, predictable pipeline using CRM tools and sales processes.
Provide market intelligence, client feedback, and competitive insights to support service development and strategic planning.
Represent Pulsar at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Reporting & Performance

Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM data with weekly updates.
Produce quarterly and annual account plans for enterprise clients.
Report on sales activity, proposal pipeline, and win/loss outcomes.
Drive year-on-year account growth and client retention.
Maintain 3×–4× pipeline coverage and high-quality deal qualification.
Deliver strong win rates across complex enterprise opportunities

Knowledge, skills and experience

Proven experience of enterprise-level sales experience within technology, SaaS, consultancy, or digital transformation environments.
Proven track record of managing complex accounts and consistently achieving high-value sales targets of £2–3M+.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow or similar workflow / enterprise service management platforms.
Experience selling implementation services, consultancy, and transformation programmes.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to engage C-suite and senior IT/Business stakeholders.
A well-established professional network within enterprise markets.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to translate operational challenges into service opportunities.
Highly organised, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, growth-oriented consultancy environment.
